From a press release:

“For its second monthly benefit event “A Good Reason to Drink,” Bar Dupont will raise funds for Food & Friends, a D.C. based non-profit on a mission to provide medically-specialized meals and nutrition counseling to people living with life-challenging illnesses.

On Wednesday, July 27, beginning at 11:00 a.m. the neighborhood restaurant in Dupont Circle will donate 15% of its proceeds from the day’s sales to support Food & Friends. In addition, a special extended happy hour will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. that day, featuring live music from DJ Cuzzin B, food and drink specials, and a chance to learn more about Food & Friends’ work in the community.

Happy Hour specials at Bar Dupont include $5 drafts, select wines for $6 per glass, and $7 specialty cocktails including cool and fizzy Moscow Mules and refreshing Deconstructed Grapefruits with Lemongrass Vodka, St. Germain, and San Pelligrino Limonata. Happy Hour food specials are $5 and include savory, herbal Lamb Meatballs, spicy grilled Shishito Peppers, crisp roasted Brussels Sprouts and the bar’s famous Dupont Fries.”
