1132 19th Street, NW

Bonfire is from the owners of Provision No. 14 in Logan Circle.

Their facebook page says:

“We can’t wait to serve you up specialty drinks starting this weekend with ‪#‎BonfireDC‬’s soft opening!!

Yes, there will be happy hour specials beginning Monday, May 2, from 3-8 pm!

A new restaurant serving Modern American Bar Fare, while featuring 20+”very” craft beers, “from the hearth” cocktail menu and fine wines”

And details on their Grand Opening Wednesday:

“Please join us as we take glamping to the next level with our unveiling of the Social Restaurant Group’s newest concept, Bonfire, a fiery 3-level space, featuring a dazzling rose gold bar, unique floor to ceiling murals, and of course, a massive built-in fireplace. Bonfire’s Grand Opening will be held on Wednesday, May 4 through Friday, May 6 , but if you just can’t wait to get a peek, we will host several soft openings beginning on Friday, April 29 through Tuesday, May 3. Come sample our cast iron campfire cookery, extensive menu of creative s’mores, and barrel wood-smoked cocktails.

Wednesday’s Grand Opening will feature a complimentary champagne glass for each guest, a dj spinning our favorite beats on the 2nd floor lounge, and photographers snapping shots all night. We thank you for your continued support of our ventures, and we can’t wait to raise our glasses in celebration with you all!

If you would like to dine with us, please make your reservation on Seatme: https://www.seatme.yelp.com/r/bonfire

We promise this is one glamping experience you will not want to miss!”

I HATE HATE HATE the word “glamping.”

    • Fritzadelphia

To glamp or not to glamp — that is the question.

    • Kukki Bakemono

      Glamping is on fleek, fam.

I hate hate hate the entire idea of this restaurant. It should be of no surprise though since Provision 14 had one of the douchiest pre-opening writeups of all time.
What is a “very” craft beer? Were these craft beers before craft beers were cool? Like when people just called them microbrews.

  • I don’t think they understand what the term glamping means

    • MsSunshine

True that. I thought: They are going to set up tents for people to sleep at their restaurant?!

  • I Dont Get It

I’ve been glamping and this is not glamping.

Dan- were considering 14th and V Logan Circle these days? Pro 14 stinks too, my man! :-)

HA HAHAHA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA Oh this made my morning. Glamping as bonfire in a DC downtown restaurant.

Honestly, I like the space and what they’re doing there sounds fun. But glamping is just terrible and this extension of an already elastic definition is worse.

  • CapitalDame

I don’t think that word means what they think it means…. but they DID get lucky with the weather. Sitting by a fire does sound appealing in a way it wouldn’t if it were 80 and sunny.

  • No Way

Just hope the owner and his crew don’t show up while you are there. Biggest bunch of pr!cks I’ve had the pleasure of running into at Provision 14.

  • anon

Provision 14 is at 14th St and V…. not exactly Logan Circle…

(Also Provision 14 is the worst).

  • anon

Wow, this has to be the single douchbagiest concept for a bar/restaurant I’ve ever seen.

  • ryan2499

Confession – I had to look up glamping.

    • MarkQ

Yeah me too. Was beating myself up thinking “wow.. 47 years on this earth and I have never heard of what sounds like a basic English word I should know.” Glad I googled to see it is just some recently made up something.

      • IDontGetIt

You knew fleek but not glamping? i
