“On February 9, 2016, at approximately 8:45pm, First District members responded to the Unit block of M Street, Northwest, for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, an adult male victim was located in the block suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced. The Homicide Branch is actively investigating this offense. Anyone with information concerning this offense is asked to call the Homicide Branch at (202) 645-9600 or (202) 727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
