Yesterday we learned metro would be stopping service at 11pm through the weekend.
From the DC Taxi Commission:
“In conjunction with the declaration by Mayor Bowser of a snow emergency, the DC Taxicab Commission authorizes the Snow Emergency Fare effective for District taxicabs on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 9:30 am. The fare will remain in effect for 12 hours unless extended as determined by the weather conditions. The Snow Emergency Fare allows taxicabs to add a flat fee of $15.00 to the metered charge.”
From DC Circulator:
“#Alert Due to the severe weather headed our way DCCirculator will suspend service at 5pm Fri and cancel service this weekend. #safetyfirst”
