seems a little on the high end, i would say 1100 tops per bedroom here, really 1000 per room would be best.

Someone took a lovely old house and turned the inside Boring Modern Beige with cheap cabinets. Boo.

It was renovated about 5 years ago, after the funeral home next door sold this portion off. This used to be a part of the funeral home. I remember when they painted it those McDonalds colors…it was a lot brighter in the beginning and sat on the market for a few months.

What’s up with the dinky kitchen cabinets?

  • chasscott

Well, at least the neighbors are quite on side!

Too late for typing. Meant to say : Well, at least the neighbors are quiet on one side!!!

Built in 1892 actually. 1900 probably comes from tax assessment which is consistently wrong (they say everything is built 1900).

This map is more fun for building dates. Click a building, see the original permit date and number: http://jmt.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=8000c0e9458d402c99147e46e8b27ec5

Who would really pay nearly $6,000 a month to rent? I know PoPville loves to point out the roving bands of rich diplomats, but are there really that many of them to justify the amount of $3,000+ rentals I see everywhere?

    • sbc

5 young adults paying $1000 each, plus one paying $900 for the “office.”

  • Shaw

For 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths, this is a really good deal for a group of millennials.
