From a press release:

“The Washington, DC Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) awarded Via Umbria a Class CR license ushering in a new era of good feeling on Wisconsin Avenue. Starting today [Dec. 12th], patrons of Via Umbria will be able to enjoy wine by the glass or bottle while enjoying freshly prepared meals in the downstairs café or the upstairs laboratorio demonstration kitchen.

The Italian market is introducing an afternoon happy hour from 5pm-7pm daily which it has dubbed “spritz o’clock” in recognition of Italians’ favorite cocktail, the spritz. Spritz o’clock will feature wines by the glass and Aperol Spritzes accompanied by fresh baked pizzette, assorted fried delicacies and charcuterie and cheese boards selected daily from the market’s fresh butcher and cheese counters.

A nightly fixed menu dinner service has also been inaugurated, taking place around the communal table in the upstairs laboratorio. Guests will be able to interact with the chef as dinner is prepared and many of the evening culinary events will feature special guests from Italy sharing their specialties and passions at the table with diners. Direct imported Italian wines and other specialty wines from notable smaller Italian wineries will be featured nightly. Menus will change daily and range in price from $50-$200. Upcoming events include a medieval dinner prepared and curated by local professor Robert Van Rens and a white truffle dinner with special guest, Augusta Pardi, representing the Cantina Fratelli Pardi and the Tessitura Pardi from Montefalco (Umbria), Italy.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
