I admit for a second I thought this might be a celebrity chef taco pop up for a second but then I saw front window – Wikipedia tells me:

“The Chalmun’s Cantina (often called the Mos Eisley Cantina or the Star Wars Cantina) is a fictional bar (cantina) of the Star Wars universe located in the “pirate city” of Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine.”

The facade of that building sort of looks like something out of Star Wars.

It’s funny because atomic billiards next door is pretty much Mos Eisley. Well as much as Mos Eisley as you can get in Cleveland Park.

  • Patrick Division

Doesn’t the commercial use of Star Wars places and characters constitute some kind of copyright infringement?

  • Dadric

If they think droids belong in the Mos Eisley cantina they clearly know nothing about Star Wars.

    • +1, I’m not really sure what they did other than put up a banner and some cardboard cut outs?

  • Ronald

That’s is not the Star Wars bar I’m looking for.

    • Cochon Butcher did an excellent job of Star Wars integration, but it’s not just a onetime thing.
