Giving-Tuesday-Heart

From President Lincoln’s Cottage:

“President Lincoln’s Cottage is excited to partner with Slash Run this #GivingTuesday to raise money to support the Cottage.

On Tuesday, December 1, after 5pm stop by Slash Run in Petworth and order from their selection of hamburgers, cocktails, desserts, and other items. 15% of all proceeds will be donated to President Lincoln’s Cottage. There will also be a raffle where the lucky winner will receive a top hat full of goodies including gift cards to local businesses.

If you can’t make it to Slash Run, you can still celebrate #GivingTuesday by making a contribution to President Lincoln’s Cottage online. An anonymous donor has pledged to match the first $15,000 donated on #GivingTuesday doubling the power of your donation!

Your support of President Lincoln’s Cottage this #GivingTuesday, and every day, means that we may continue to provide groundbreaking exhibits, inspirational school programs, and preserve Lincoln’s beloved Cottage as a home for brave ideas.

Slash Run is located at 201 Upshur St., NW, Washington, DC 20011, which is right across the street from the Eagle Gate entrance to President Lincoln’s Cottage and the Armed Forces Retirement Home.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
