826DC’s Shop “Tivoli’s Astounding Magic Supply Co.” Grand Opening Saturday

IMG_8895

From an email:

826DC is a nonprofit tutoring and writing center for students ages 6-18, and is part of a national organization co-founded by the best-selling author, Dave Eggers. This Saturday, we will be unveiling our brand new home inside the historic Tivoli building. Previously housed behind the Museum of Unnatural History, the new location will be fronted by an equally unique shop: Tivoli’s Astounding Magic Supply Co. This will be the first chance to shop the new store, while also learning about our upcoming Fall/Winter programs for students. All proceeds from the store benefit 826DC’s 100% free writing programs for DC youth.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
