UPDATE:

Takoma Park Street Festival is Canceled

After much deliberation and with the safety of our vendors and visitors our highest concern, we have decided to cancel the Takoma Park Street Festival this Sunday, October 4th, 2015 due to conditions related to Hurricane Joaquin. Winds, ground saturation and street conditions were considered in coordination with City of Takoma Park officials when making this decision. We appreciate your understanding due to these extenuating circumstances and looking forward to seeing you next year. Save the date: Sunday, October 2, 2016.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
