Juvenile Suspect Arrested for Multiple Daytime Robberies; Additional Suspects Sought

“The Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced an arrest has been made in multiple Robbery Force and Violence offenses, which occurred on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

Fifth District Officers responded to a call for a robbery, and upon arrival, located two complainants who reported an assault and robbery in the 200 block of Florida Avenue, NE at approximately 4:00 pm.

Third District Officers responded to a call for a robbery, and upon arrival, located the complainant who reported an assault and robbery in the 400 block of N Street, NW at approximately 4:30 pm.

First District Officers responded to a call for a robbery, and upon arrival, located the complainant who reported an assault and robbery in the 200 block of K Street, NW, at approximately 5:00 pm.

On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, a juvenile male of Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with the robberies. In all of these instances, a group of males assaulted and robbed the complainants. The investigation to determine the identity of the remaining suspects is continuing.”
