From Screen on the Green:

“It’s summertime in DC and we’re ready to kick back, relax, and enjoy the long days. What’s on our summer bucket list? Screen on the Green 2015! Thanks to HBO and Comcast NBCUniversal, SOTG is back and we love this year’s films! What do you think?

The Details

  • July 20 – North by Northwest (1959) – Join Carey Grant and Eva Marie Saint on an adventure from the United Nations in New York to Mt. Rushmore in this Alfred Hitchcock classic. Spies, suspense, and romance? Count us in!
  • July 27 – The Poseidon Adventure (1972) – This epic disaster film follows stars Gene Hackman, Leslie Nielsen, and Shelly Winters as they fight for their lives when a luxury liner capsizes while crossing the Atlantic.
  • August 3 – Desk Set (1957) – Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn star in this comedy about office politics and the dawn of the computer era. Computers might be pretty effective when it comes to workplace efficiency, but not for romance!
  • August 10 – Back to the Future (1985) – What happens when a mad scientist sends a teen back to 1955? He lands in the middle of his parents’ courtship, of course! Come see Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd go back to the future at SOTG.”

Ed. Note: movies are shown at sundown around 8pm between 4th and 7th Streets on the National Mall”.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
