40th Anniversary Pride Parade and Festival this Weekend

“WHAT: The 40th Celebration of Pride in the Nation’s Capital with the annual Capital Pride Parade, Festival and Concert

WHEN: Parade – Saturday, June 13, 4:30 pm; Festival, and Concert – Sunday, June 14, opening at 12:00 noon.

WHERE: Parade – steps off at 22nd and P Streets, NW, and travels through the Dupont Circle and Logan Circle neighborhoods, ending at 14th and S Streets, NW; Festival and Concert, Pennsylvania Ave., NW, between 3rd and 7th Streets.

WHY: To celebrate the DC metropolitan area’s LGBTA community and to mark 40 years since the first celebration of Pride in DC.

SPECIAL: Maps of the parade route and festival are attached.”
