“We’re launching a public lottery to give away 1,000 free tickets to Landmark Music Festival for the National Mall! The lottery site will go live today at 9:00 a.m. EST and stay open until 5:00 p.m. EST May 27. That evening, 500 names will be randomly drawn to receive a pair of two general admission tickets and all entrants will be notified of the results by e-mail the following day.
The lottery will take place in part over Memorial Day weekend, a particularly poignant time to remember the brave men and women whose sacrifices to ensure our freedoms are forever honored on the National Mall.
The first-of-its-kind Landmark Music Festival will raise awareness and support for the Trust for the National Mall’s work to restore, improve and preserve America’s Front Yard for generations to come. And as you may have heard, the two-day festival will feature headliners Drake, The Strokes and alt-J among a line-up of more than 40 performers coming together to give voice to our nation’s most beloved park.”
