Taste test local brews, socialize, and learn about D.C.’s urban gardening community.
The event kicks off at 4 p.m. with a beer tasting, followed by a sampling of some of NFI’s locally grown produce. Prizes will be awarded for Best Brew, Best Use of a Local Ingredient, Most Creative, and more. Winners will be announced shortly before 7 p.m., after which DC Reynolds will remain open for guests to mix & mingle.

Contest rules are available on NFI’s website at www.neighborhoodfarminitiative.org/dc-homebrew-competition. Any fermented beverage brew may be submitted, including but not limited to beer, mead, and kombucha.
We promote the collaborative, sustainable cultivation of food in urban spaces.
All proceeds will benefit the Neighborhood Farm Initiative, a DC-based nonprofit with a focus on residential and small-scale food production in Washington, DC.”
