MPD “Investigating a Series of Possible Related Robberies” in Shaw

“The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a series of Robberies that occurred in Northwest, Washington, DC between Tuesday, March 17, 2015 and Wednesday, March 18, 2015 that may be related.

· Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at approximately 10:15 am, a complainant was walking in the 600 block of P Street, NW, when she was approached by three suspects. Suspect One demanded her phone while pulling an unknown object from underneath his shirt. The complainant was able to run away without the suspects obtaining any property.

Suspect One: Black male, approximately 5’8” in height, weighing approximately 150 pounds last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect Two: Black male.

Suspect Three: Black female, approximately 5’4” in height with dreads.

· Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at approximately 12:20 pm, a complainant was walking in the 1100 block of 10th Street, NW, when she was approached by two suspects who demanded US Currency. The first suspect displayed a knife and the complainant complied.

Suspect One: Black male with a dark brown complexion, approximately 15 to 20 years old, 5’7” in height, weighing approximately 110 to 120 pounds.

Suspect Two: Black male with a medium brown complexion, approximately 15 to 20 years old, 5’7” in height, weighing approximately 115 to pounds.

· Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at approximately 7:54 pm, a complaint was walking in the 1600 block of Vermont Avenue, NW, when she was approached from behind by three suspects. Suspect Two pushed the complainant to the ground and Suspect One displayed a knife and demanded her property. The complainant complied and the suspects took her wallet.

Suspect One: Black male, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5’10” to 6’0”, 130 to 135 pounds, last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Suspect Two: Suspect One: Black male, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5’10” to 6’0”, 130 to 135 pounds, last seen wearing a green jacket and black pants.

Suspect Three: Suspect One: Black male, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5’10” to 6’0”, 130 to 135 pounds.

· Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at approximately 9:01 am, a complainant was walking in the 1300 block of 10th Street, NW, when a suspect approach, displayed a knife, and demanded US Currency. The complainant began screaming and the suspect fled without obtaining any property.

Suspect One: Black male with a light brown complexion, approximately 18 to 20 years old and 5’7” to 5’9” in height

Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at approximately 9:07 am, a complainant was walking in the 1300 block of 10th Street, NW, when she was approached by a suspect who demanded US Currency. The suspect then assaulted the complainant and fled without obtaining any property.

Suspect One: Black male, approximately 20 years old, 5’7” to 5’8”.
