Props to the Cops – Arrest Made in Brazen Shooting in Truxton Circle and Juveniles arrested for Assault and Mayhem in Columbia Heights

“Detectives from The Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division have announced an arrest has been made in connection to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun.)

On Friday, January 9, 2015 at approximately 10:10 pm, a victim of an assault exited a building located in the 200 block of N Street, NW, and fired several shots at subjects with no rounds taking effect, but striking a parked vehicle.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, 21 year-old Steve Tyrone Gantt of Northwest, Washington DC, was arrested pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).”

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announced several arrests have been made in two cases from the Columbia Heights area.

On Thursday, January 22, 2015, at approximately 6:50 pm a group of approximately ten juveniles assaulted an adult female in the 3200 block of Hiatt Place, NW.

On Friday, January 30, 2015, a juvenile male was arrested and charged with Assault with Significant Bodily Injury. On Monday, February 2, 2015, three juvenile females were also arrested and charged with Assault with Significant Bodily Injury and Mayhem.

On Friday, January 23, 2015, at approximately 6:20 pm, a juvenile male was robbed at 14th and Irving Streets, NW.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, the juvenile male who was arrested in the assault case which occurred on Thursday, January 22, 2015, was also arrested and charged with Robbery Fear in connection to the robbery.”
