A Plea for a St. Baldrick’s Donation – Free Special Edition T-Shirts

photo

On Friday I mentioned that I’ve joined Boundary Stone’s St. Baldrick’s Team – and to please consider donating $5 or $10 to fight childhood cancer. Thank you to all who have donated!

I realize I still have a long long ways to go towards reaching my fundraising goal so let me sweeten the deal for ya! Anyone who donates $20 or more will get a free special edition PoPville t-shirt (pictured above, real sign from 14th Street). We’re on the honor system here – so just come to the event March 15th at Boundary Stone (or a future PoPville happy hour) and I’ll get you a shirt. But I beg you again, this is a really good cause – so if you are able to donate anything even 5 bucks I’d be super grateful. And if you are fortunate enough to be able to donate more (or just want a t-shirt that’s cool too) please make your donation here. With all sincerity – thank you very much for considering. And come to the party at Boundary Stone on March 15th when we’ll all get our heads shaved.

The home cleaning company pays cleaners — who are W-2 employees — a living wage starting at $24 an hour. Plus, cleaners are offered benefits, including insurance, 24 paid days off a year, 100% employer-paid commuting costs and more.

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, said it best: “People deserve their work to be respected and recognized. When that happens, you love what you do, and you create the best results.”
