“DGS Delicatessen and Specialty Bar celebrates its two-year anniversary Saturday, November 15th.

To mark the occasion, DGS is bringing together some of our favorite chefs, artisans and farmers. The list of guests includes meat farmer extraordinaire Bev Eggleston, visionary chef Jeremiah Langhorne, gelato wizard Robb Duncan, bread master Mark Furstenburg and vegetable guru Steve Turnage.

Together, they will cook a special family style menu: Mark Furstenburg’s challah with “everything” butter, surf and turf deviled eggs with Bev Eggleston’s chicken cracklings and trout roe, Jeremiah Langhorne’s braised beef shank with fresh coriander and crispy onions and housemade chocolate babka with Robb Duncan’s crookneck pumpkin gelato.

The 4-course family style menu is available for $40 from 5:30-10pm. Partner, GM and Beverage Director Brian Zipin has curated a special wine pairing for the occasion for just $18. Reservations can be made online at dgsdelicatessen.com or by calling 202.293.4400.”
