MPD looking for a suspect in connection with First Degree Sexual Abuse While Armed offense that occurred in the 1600 block of Montello Ave, NE

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with First Degree Sexual Abuse While Armed offense that occurred in the area of the 1600 block of Montello Avenue, Northeast.

On Saturday, October 4, 2014, between the hours of 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm, an adult female was walking in the area of the 1600 block of Montello Avenue, NE, when a suspect approached her, displayed a handgun and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’1” in height, muscular build, light complexion, short cut hair, clean shaven, in his twenties, wearing a white t-shirt, tan pants, and last seen in the 1600 block of Montello Avenue, NE.

Anyone with information regarding this case should call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
