Props to the Cops – Armed Robbery Arrest near U Street and Burgary Arrests near H Street, NE

From MPD:

“On today’s date [Sunday], at approximately 12:50 am, members of your 3-D VICE Unit responded to 11th & Florida Avenue NW for the report of an “Armed Robbery.” Investigation revealed the victim had been robbed of his wallet and I-Phone.

Members of VICE arrived and immediately observed a armed suspect and pursued him on foot. During the course of the foot pursuit, the juvenile male suspect pulled a handgun from his person and tossed it alongside an apartment building in the 2300 block of 11th Street, NW. The suspect was stopped a short distance away and was arrested. The victim of the Robbery positively identified the suspect as being one of the subjects who had robbed him minutes earlier.

Recovered was a .45 caliber Semi-Automatic Pistol and the victims stolen property.”

“A Burglary I occured in the 900 block of 13th St NE. S-1 and S-2 entered the basement of a private residence and stole the owners property. The complainants provided a lookout and police stopped two suspects with the property a few blocks away and placed them under arrest.”
