From a press release:

“After a successful inaugural Independence Day themed Brunch Party this summer, STK DC looks to take on Washington‘s beloved weekend brunch crowd on a regular basis. The “Not Your Daddy’s” Steakhouse is pleased to announce the start of the weekly Sunday service, to begin on September 21, from 11:30am – 6:00pm.

Since opening in April, the vibe-driven environment has become a favorite among the power and fashionable sets, however the discerning brunch connoisseur may also rest assured – it’s about more than the traditional steak and eggs offering here. The a la carte selections range from Fresh Fruit Board (Yogurt, Granola), to Bakers Basket (Strawberry Almond Scone, Jelly Stuffed Corn Muffin, French Toast Cupcake, Goat Cheese and Bacon Biscuit), to a Raw Bar selection and Buttermilk Pancakes (Macerated Berries, Vermont Maple Syrup, Strawberry Mint Sauce); to name a few entrees, the menu also features the Brunch Sandwich (Virginia Ham, Smoked Bacon, Sliced Tomato, Fried Egg, Aged Cheddar, Pickles), Brunch Burger (Maple Pepper Bacon, Boursin Gruyere, Tomato Jam, Bearnaise, Fried Egg) and the Thai Style Fried ½ Chicken (Crepes & Honey, Green Papaya Salad).

Side options are available to order, along with decadent desserts including Peach Cobbler, Banana Bread Pudding (Banana Anglaise, Chocolate Chips, Vanilla Ice Cream), Butterscotch Sticky Buns (Bourbon Sauce, Candied Pecans), Pull Apart Cream Cheese Monkey Bread (Maple Glaze, Coffee Swirl Ice Cream).

Beyond the cocktail and wine lists, Bottomless Brunch Cocktails (including Prosecco, Mimosas, Bellinis and Bloody Marys) are available for, a maximum two-hour timeframe, at $18.

Effective September 21, the restaurant will be ending Sunday dinner service.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
