Man Shot at 10:35 this morning during a robbery at 3rd and K St, NW

“On today’s date, at approximately 10:35 am, a complainant was shot once during a robbery. The complainant received a non-life threatening wound. The incident occurred in the 300 block of K Street, NW. Look-out is for a black male, light complexion, thin build, approximately 25 years of age and approximately 6’ to 6’1” tall. He had full dreads and facial hair and was last seen wearing a grey scarf, grey shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099 or 1-888-919-2746. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. Additionally, remember to call 911 if you observe suspicious persons or activity.”
