From NoMa BID:

“BANGARANG! The NoMa Business Improvement District will remember the amazing Robin Williams at a special encore NoMa Summer Screen with the classic film Hook on Wednesday, August 27!

“We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate the life of Robin Williams the terrific work he created,” said Robin-Eve Jasper, President of the NoMa Business Improvement District. “Friends, neighbors, and residents: please spread the word. Pirate apparel encouraged.”

Hook will be shown on the Loree Grand Field at Second and L Streets, NE. The event starts at 7 pm with music, giveaways, food trucks, picnicking and fun for all ages. Films start at dark (around 8 pm). All movies are screened with subtitles. Coolers, children and friendly (leashed) dogs are welcome. Follow us on Twitter @NoMaBID or Facebook for weather updates and to hear more about a free guerrilla yoga class before the movie, courtesy of Yoga NoMa, the neighborhood’s newest yoga studio opening this fall.”
