A liquor license placard has gone up for the space above Floors on 14th next to the new Amsterdam Falafel on 14th Street:
“Art Soiree House
Multi-Purpose Facility with Arts, Photo exhibits, Jazz and Piano music. Light snacks will be provided such as hummus, pita bread and light hors d’oeuvres.”
Very excited to learn more about this! Back in the day this space was once planned for a spot called Local 14 and more recently was once a planned pizza restaurant by Edan Macquaid but has been vacant for years. It’s on 14th Street just south of T Street:
