“This is a fun event – a great chance to see the work of local artists – much of which is even affordable!”

From Mid City Artists:

“Who are the Mid City Artists? They are a diverse and talented group of professional artists who have come together for the purpose of promoting their art and the Dupont/Logan neighborhoods of Washington DC that they call home.

Twice each year, the private studios of select member artists are open for visitors. Always the weekend before Memorial Day in the Spring and the weekend after Columbus Day in the Fall. Discover painting, photography, sculpture, glass, mixed media, prints and much more.

Enjoy a day touring with friends and observing the artistic process. Explore how artists have carved out their working spaces and build your collection from the connections that you make with these artists.

Where is Mid City? Host to some of the city’s hottest restaurants, nightclubs, galleries, interior design shops and fashion boutiques, the Mid City corridor is a thriving destination for the arts in DC. Roughly centered between Dupont Circle on the West and 9th Street NW to the East and stretching from U Street NW to L Street NW to the South, the area crosses a number of neighborhoods including Dupont, Shaw, and Logan . . .”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
