MPD Seeks Information on Hit and Run with Injury 7th St and Rhode Island Ave, NW

“The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking information from the public regarding a Hit-and-Run crash which occurred on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at approximately 9:31 pm at the intersection of 7th Street and Rhode Island Avenue, NW. The crash resulted in serious injuries to a pedestrian. The victim was struck by a stolen 1998 white Ford Windstar cargo van with DC tags DT-8537. The vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the day from the 3200 block of O Street, NW. The van fled the scene, but was recovered on Sunday, March 30, 2014.
