Oof that is a very tiny space! But with utilities and furniture included, a great location (imo) and seeing as it’s in good shape, I’d guess it’s accurately priced. Are there two studio apartments in the basement, I wonder, since there are two doors? That’d be amazing… so much rental income!

How exactly is this “just a short walk to METRO”?

That’s a bit of a hike to Cleveland Park, and uphill on Porter Street. It’s doable, but not a “short walk” by any definition.

It’s a 15 min walk to Columbia Hts Metro.

Sad that a 15 minute walk is considered “short” in this context. In Paris, people would laugh at a listing that said just a short 15 minute walk to the metro…. since 96% of the city proper is under 500 meters from a station.

I live on this street and it is a short walk. It might not be ‘I’m really lazy and roll down the street’ walk. The bus to Tenley is two blocks away , a couple more to the Mt P buses, and one more after to the 16th street ones. You can pretty much get anywhere fairly easy.

Another note. I’m on this same side of the street in a basement and you have Rock Creek Park right outside your back so it makes it nice not to have another row of houses facing you. I pay 1200 for an entire 1000 sq ft basement though with utilities and the parking spot :) so this is overpriced

That is too much for a basement studio so far from 16th street. I know the neighborhood is lovely – which you could see on your blocks long trek to a bus or metro – but you certainly won’t see out if those teeny tiny windows.
