The forecast predicts 60 degrees, plenty of sunshine, and all the das boot you can handle. Spring has finally arrive and we’re looking forward to kicking off another great season with all our favorite beer drinkers!

7th and Q Street, NW

What to expect:

– The same great casual set-up, with a few new improvements.

Cantina Marina is so wild lol
does not feel like you are in DC one bit

Does anyone know how/if Cantina is going to be affected by the wharf construction? (Despite living in SW, I haven’t been following as closely as I should.) I love Cantina, and can’t wait to get out there for a margarita after an afternoon by the pool! Summer can’t come fast enough!!

I believe that it’s staying where it is (and open) during construction, along with the Fish Market. The rest is getting demolished and rebuilt.

I love me some Cantina Marina as well. I’m looking forward to some medicocre food and some cold beers before a Nats game.

What happened with Dacha’s construction plans? I guess they won’t have a permanent building up for the 2014 season?

  • Eckington Chick

I’ll be down there (‘tina ‘rina) right after work. Hope to down my first bucket of Coronas and demand they play Buffet’s Margaritaville before 5:30.

This is the funniest picture I’ve seen all day! Outdoor waterfront bar open for the season.. Don’t mind the snow, but watch yourself on that ice, it’s slippery folks

Oh how I’ve missed having the Cantina Marina bartenders avoid serving everyone at their bar and gossip with each other. Every year, some of the slowest, snottiest bartenders at what should be a chill place.
