A reader reports:

“There were shots fired at 3rd and P st NW maybe 30 mins ago, and now heavy police presence/road blocked. [as of 4pm] The police appear to have completed the site investigation and police tape is down on P ST and 3rd ST NW.”

Update from MPD:

“Fifth Police District Units responded to and investigated the Sound of Gunshots, 3rd & P St. NW, 12:37 PM, CCN: 019-245. A Witness stated that a group of folks were standing at New Jersey and P St. NW when a dark 4dr sedan pulled onto P St. from NJ Ave and fired several shots. We recovered evidence that supports that claims that shots were fired.

We firmly believe that this was not the case of an armed individual firing randomly.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
