I wonder what they took, cigarettes or electronics near the check out would be my guess, but it looks like they have big items in the footage. Anyone know?

There is an ATM right near the front door, maybe that?

    • asg

I believe it was reported that they stole an ATM.

The Breaking Bad scene comes to mind.

Definitely a Regional Addiction Prevention van.

Look at the front door and the back doors. RAP and the logo are clearly on the front door and the slogan “Dare to struggle, dare to win!” is on the back.

Now MPDC just has to find out who stole the truck or who has access to it and cross reference employees with black cars.

We…the plate is clear as day when they open the back door right in front of the camera at 1.09 minutes in.

I can’t imagine that it would take very long to figure out who had access to the van, assuming it wasn’t stolen.

Never overestimate MPD’s investigation prowess though. They could very well completely bungle this and/or lose evidence. In a recent DC jury trial where the perp was clearly caught driving a stolen van much like this one, MPD “lost” the ENTIRE VAN and he walked.
