This Weekend’s Metro Track Work – Not Too Bad!

From WMATA:

“Reconstruction of the Metrorail system will continue over the weekend of December 27-29 with service adjustments on the Red Line starting at 10 p.m. Friday and continuing through closing Sunday.

Trains on the Orange, Blue, Yellow and Green lines will operate on a regular weekend schedule.

Red Line 10 p.m. Fri, Dec. 27 through closing Sun, Dec. 29
Trains every 10-20 minutes

Red Line trains will operate as follows:

Between Shady Grove & Glenmont: Every 20 minutes throughout the weekend
Additional trains 9AM-9PM
Between Shady Grove and Dupont Circle: every 10 minutes
Between Glenmont and Judiciary Square: every 10 minutes

Work Performed: Track maintenance and signage installation between Dupont Circle and Judiciary Square
