From a press release:

“Med Lahlou and Antonio Matarazzo of the Lalou Group are pleased to announce the December 16th anticipated opening of their new Italian concept, Lupo Verde. The intimate 100-seat restaurant, which translates to “green wolf”, will serve authentic, rustic, Italian fare in the bustling 14th Street neighborhood at 1401 T Street, NW, 20009. This is the Lalou Group’s forth concept in Washington as the restaurant group owns Ulah Bistro, Tunnicliff’s Tavern and Station 4 on the Southwest Waterfront. Lupo Verde will open serving dinner nightly, from 5 PM to 11 PM. Guests will also be able to enjoy late night hours Sunday through Thursday, from 11 PM to 2 AM, and Friday and Saturday, from 11 PM to 3 AM.

Corporate Chef Orlando Amaro will oversee the menu at Lupo Verde, which will feature a variety of small plates, house-made charcuteries, cheeses, breads and antipasti. Wood-fired pizzas will also be available along with a selection of paninis and salads at lunch, and house-made pastas, whole roasted fish and a premiere selection of meats during dinner. Customers will be able to purchase 70% of the restaurant’s menu “to go” including 50 cheeses (five of which will be made in-house while the rest will be made from local farmers or imported from Italy) sold by the ounce, two house-made prosciuttos and several other house cured meats. Fresh and dried house-made pastas will be available for purchase by the kilo, along with house-made sauces and rustic house-made breads. Daily specials will be posted on the chalkboard on both levels of the restaurant.

Lupo Verde will offer a boutique wine list with 100 wines available by the bottle and 70% of the wines will incorporate Italian grapes. Bottle prices will range from $22 to $350 with a majority of the selections available for under $100, along with a number of wines available by the glass for $6. The restaurant will have a selection of innovative cocktails, incorporating house-made vermouth and liquors made by aging fruit in oak barrels. Lupo Verde will also offer five beers and three wines on draft: Prosecco, Sangiovese and Pinot Grigio.

Lisa Halloran of Sculptures of Space has been tapped to design the space, which will feature an attractive 15-seat bar of Carrara marble; hand-painted Italian tile and a 25-seat lounge on the main level. Lupo Verde will also house a Cheese Shop, showcasing a variety of imported and house-made cheeses and meats. Upstairs guests will feel as though they have stepped into a private residence with lofty ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, luxurious wall coverings, and substantial crown and base molding. Customers will find an intimate 10-seat marble bar, and 50 additional dining seats including a semi-private alcove with seating for 10 and a working fireplace. A gated, private outdoor patio will also available during the spring and summer months (weather permitting) and can accommodate 40 guests.

Lupo Verde is located at 1401 T Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20009. Dinner is served seven days a week, from 5 PM to 11 PM. Late night hours can also be enjoyed Sunday through Thursday, from 11 PM to 2 AM, and Friday and Saturday, from 11 PM to 3 AM. This January, Lupo Verde will begin serving brunch Saturday and Sunday, from 9 AM to 3 PM, and lunch service will also be introduced Monday through Friday, from 11 AM to 3 PM.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
