Suspect Sought in First Degree Sexual Abuse and Robbery: Area of 10th and Quebec Street, NW

“The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Assault and Robbery which occurred in the area of 10th and Quebec Street, NW.

On Sunday, October 6, 2013, at approximately 3:00 am, an adult female was walking in the area when she was approached from behind by an unknown male. The suspect placed his arms around her neck and forced her to ground where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect took several items belonging to the victim before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a male of unknown race, medium build, 5’8” to 5’9” in height, wearing a black or blue hoodie and blue jeans.
