Breakfast All Day, New Hours and Fall Menu at DGS Delicatessen in Dupont

DGS_Dupont_jewish_deli
1317 Connecticut Avenue, NW

From a press release:

“Delicatessens have long been gathering places in the community, a place for everyone to come together and break bread. In that spirit, we will keep our doors open all day. Now you can get a pastrami or matzo ball soup or appetizing board anytime of day, seven days a week (see full hours below).

DGS also just launched a new menu:

· We now offer breakfast all day, a long list of sandwiches, plus a new list of entrees that channel our original goal of reimagining the delicatessen experience.

· Two examples: Friday Night Chicken is prepared confit in schmaltz and served over pastrami spiced white beans, roasted tomatoes, and kale—a delicatessen cassoulet. For our flounder schnitzel, we coat the fish in house-made mustard and rye bread crumbs, pan fry and serve it with roasted beets, swiss chard and preserved lemon.

· We’ve added an entire section of classic cocktails including a Sidecar and Vesper that go back to the heydey of Jewish drinking culture in Lower East Side Taverns and Catskill Mountain Summer Resorts.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
