“The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse while Armed in the area of the 600 block of Irving Street, NW.
On Saturday, September 28, 2013, at approximately 2:30 am, an adult female victim was walking in the area of the 600 block of Irving Street, NW, when an unknown male approached her and produced a handgun. The suspect forced her into a nearby alley where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect took several items of the victim’s personal property and fled.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s to 30s, with a dark brown complexion. He was wearing a black mask, grey hoodie and jeans. The suspect rode off on a bicycle.
Anyone with information that can assist in identifying this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
