Holy crap. Can’t wait to live with two people and pay over $2000 a month for the privilege!

  • Great location. Absolutely absurd price.

Agreed. House was sold for $900K in 2007. Maybe $4500/3 people?

Someone should inform this guy that Dupont ain’t all that anymore.

          Yeah it is.

That is debatable. Nice area? Sure. Lots to do? Sure. The epicenter of DC? No. (IMHO)

Nobody lives there anymore. It’s too expensive.

It kind of is, still. For those who can afford it.

THIS. Dream location, lovely house (the kitchen and bathroom aren’t my taste but still) but jaw-dropping price-tag. For 2000 you could have your own private, renovated 1 bedroom (probably with a balcony if you looked hard enough) nearby.

No, you really can’t – trust me, I was looking for a place with my girlfriend, we searched high and low in Dupont.

From 1988-2000 I lived at 1734 T Street NW (a very similar building to this one). Three of us had the top two floors. When I first moved in my rent was $400 per month. Some time in the mid-90’s my landlord begged me to buy the place and even offered to help. I turned him down. Doh!
