    Since the “before” picture was in the midst of the rehab, I’m not sure this is a great example. And, the finished product would have been improved if they’d retained the original brick.

    • They didn’t retain the original brick because construction + heavy rain + improper foundation shoring = one of the walls collapsed, and they didn’t bother to match the original brick construction. Kind of a shiteshow, really.

    • Still looks like a pretty impressive change to me!

    These condos is what i see from my backyard…and i bought my house in 2008 and before they started the rehab when the buildings were boarded up –it was a crap show. And yes during rehab one wall completely collapsed so they had to replace the wall with new brick so they had to paint it. To me it looks great.
