Well it’s nothing fancy but the price seems reasonable.

i used to live around the corner on C street. i moved b/c it could be a little (ok, a lot) sketchy at night. but the D6 runs on C St to Union Station and that was a plus for me at the time.

Used to live near Lincoln Park about 5 years ago. It was amazing how sketchy it “felt” going NE from the park when I couldn’t find a parking spot late at night.

I wonder if the area NE of the park, about 3-4 blocks up Tennessee Ave has gotten much better. Hopefully so. Part of the sketchiness was that it was so eerily quiet. Oh, and that one time I got mugged after parking my car.

  • This seems crazy. There are basements mere blocks away that cost almost this much–$1750 for the whole house?

    • Yes this seems like a phenomenal deal to me

I’ll bet it’s gone already, or else the owner has approximately 500 responses to sift through.

Yeah, I’m confused. Why is this so cheap? When we were looking for a tenant for our basement apartment, our realtor advised us to price it $100-200 below market rate so we’d have a bunch of people to choose from rather than two or three. But surely this is more than $100-200 below market rate??

    great deal.
