A couple weeks ago we noted one of the longest coming soon signs in town was about to become a reality. Thanks to MG for sending word that as of this morning Einstein Bros. Bagels has opened in Union Station (next to Jamba Juice on the 1st floor.)

This is good news. And no, they’re not nearly as good as the bagels you will find in NYC, but they’re still pretty good.

  • So I tried to go this morning but after 20 minutes of waiting for my order I had to catch my train. Hopefully they’ll work out the kinks…this morning they were NOT the place to get coffee or breakfast.

    • Definitely a disorganized start to the business. I took this photo for Popville and then bypassed opening day in favor of McDs. Here’s hoping they work out the kinks soon!

I hope they get all of their opening day problems “squared” away.

  • These are not bagels — they’re “rolls with holes.” Cranberry bagels? Dutch apple bagels???? Those border on the criminal! 🙂

I could only understand the repeated coverage as ironic. Their bagels are horrible. A Brueggers would have been better.
