Perry Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Northwest Washington, DC and cares for thousands of our own residents every year. Their mission? To apply the THREE approaches of social services, economic empowerment, and youth development to eradicate ONE critical issue in our citychronic poverty.

The organization provides services ranging from prenatal care, preschool and teen programs, basic adult education and GED programs, job readiness, training and placement, tax support, emergency assistance, family mentoring, father initiatives, elderly care and more.

Its beautiful and historic building has transitioned from the first high school for black students constructed from public funds, to a shelter and food distribution center, and now to the largest human services center in DC serving 5,000 people per month.
