Every month, Irish Whiskey Public House will highlight a different whiskey with Tasting Tuesdays, offering complimentary tastings for their featured whiskey for the month. This month the featured whiskey is Concannon Irish Whiskey. The tastings will be held every Tuesday in the Dublin Room, Irish Whiskey’s top floor, from 7pm-10pm. Product specialist will be onsite to guide guests through their signature flights and pairing options.
Concannon Irish Whiskey is a refined blend of malt and grain whiskeys, and is craft distilled for proper balance of character and purity and is matured in a combination of ex-‐bourbon barrels and Concannon wine barrels for a minimum of four years. With a full, clean taste delicately balanced between honey sweet, citrus and malt flavors, and a fresh oak finish, Concannon Irish Whiskey can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in a variety of premium cocktails.
Irish Whiskey Public House opened in January 2012 and brought DC a distinctive bar program, with over 50 brands of Irish Whiskeys, and an outstanding full menu of modern Irish American Cuisine. Irish Whiskey is located at 1207 19th Street, NW.
