The 5pm Post – Bike Sale at Big Bear

From an email:

Phoenix Bikes (a local non-profit youth/community bike shop) is having a spring bike sale:
-Saturday, March 3rd – 10am to 2pm
-@ Big Bear Cafe in DC at 1st and R St NW

As usual, all of the bikes we are selling have been donated by people in the DC/MD/VA area and are worked on by young people and volunteers in our mentoring program. Each bike has been tuned up and checked out by a bike mechanic, and is ready to ride. All of the proceeds from the bikes sold will go to support our youth program that teaches youth to work on bicycles.
We will have over 30 bikes for sale including mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrid bikes, single speeds and cruisers. There will be a good mix of sizes of bicycle along with an assortment of locks and helmets.
