From @USOPM:

“Due to expected icy conditions, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management recommends that Federal employees remain off the road until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23. Federal Government offices will open to the public at 11:00 a.m.

From @Mayorvincegray:

“The District government and DCPS will be open on time tomorrow, Monday, January 23.”

To clarify- it’s not 2 hrs. late. It’s an 11 am arrival. If you normally get to work at 7, for instance, you would have 4 hours of administrative leave possible.

Is that correct? Or is “open to the public” at 11 a.m. for things like post offices and passport offices? It’s very unclear.

(I should note that my federal office was open as normal when I arrived at 7:30 a.m.)
