The 5pm Post – Help the Homeless Walkathon Fundraiser

From an email:

“The Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) will walk at the Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon on Saturday, November 19th at the National Mall and tomorrow LAYC is hosting a Happy Hour at Tabaq Bistro on U Street [1336 U St, NW] to raise funds for this purpose.

As you know LAYC has been serving at-risk youth in the DC area for many years. This event will be a great way to bring the community together for a fun night in support of a nonprofit that has helped our community and our youth since 1968.

All proceeds from the cover charge will go to pay for youth registrations to participate at the Walkathon. Funds raised from the Walkathon will directly support LAYC’s bilingual residential programs that serve runaway and homeless youth in the Washington, DC area.”

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
