The flier says:

“TOO MANY BEAUTIFUL FEATURES TO LIST. THIS HOME WILL APPEAL TO ANYONE WHO LIKES HISTORIC PROPERTIES YET IUPDATED TO INCORPORATE TODAY’S CONVENIENCES. WALK TO METRO; HARRISON SQUARE, U-STREET CORRIDOR AND MORE. FRONT YARD AND PATIO REFLECT OWNER’S LOVE OF GARDENS. 2-CAR DET. GAR. , FRONT PORCH & MORE.”

Wow, this one went under contract fast but since I love the garden and always wanted to peek inside, I thought I’d throw it out there for like-minded folks. This 3 bed/3.5 bath was going for $675,000 – sound right or do you think it went over list? What do you think of the inside?

    Taxidermy ahoy!

It needs less a little work but the price is not bad for being west of Sherman.

Their agent should have told them to remove anything that was no longer alive.

Certainly homes of this size and condition have gone right around this price range. I personally think that you can get a better bargain int he area but the quick sale leads me to believe that their investment is safe.

IS that the house from The Lost Boys?

I dont know if this is a good deal, but that is certainly one of the ugliest interiors I’ve seen.

I’m sure it went for well over list.

Definitely a good deal — good location that is west of 11th and close to metro/U street (without being too close). Looks like a relatively nice block, too. No finished basement, but off-street parking and updated-looking kitchen and bathrooms make up for that.

They’re probably selling it to get away from the ugly pop-up
    next door.

Certainly the most beautiful features are the dining room corner cabinets with the Washington, DC themed stained glass doors. =)

That was a great deal if they bought it for list. A very nice house. And, I’m assuming the dead animals did not convey.
