Can we start a campaign for a Petworth Pitango?

      I’d support it!

  • That Attitude Exact space is HUGE. I was in there a couple of months ago looking at the space with someone, and it’s ginormous. I’m not saying a nail salon and spa (provided it’s a real spa type deal and not a “spa” as has been on Barracks Row in the past) could do really well there. I’d definitely give it a try.

Happy to hear about the new non-resto/bar biz moving in on 8th though w/the movie theatre and now this. I love the restaurants and bars, but some diversity is cool. I hope blockbuster ends up retail too. (not that if it were a restaurant, I wouldn’t eat there…)

    • Nicole,

Don’t worry, we have solid confirmation that the Blockbuster space is non-food and non-service (dry cleaner, bank, etc). In fact, rumors abound that it’s a popular clothing store in negotiations. As soon as something is finalized and a lease is signed, we’ll tell PoP first which one it is!

Wait, what’s this about a movie theater?

No mention that Starfish Cafe closed and is being replaced by a place called Levagna?

I’ll miss you Starfish, and your slighty above average food and decent prices and always empty dining room

They were just so overpriced, they kind of doomed themselves for failure. A shrimp po’ boy need not cost nearly $20

  • Newish2CH

Oh boy! More frozen yogurt and gelato! However did we live without this in DC before today?
