U Street Music Hall is located at 1115 U St NW.

From an email:

This Saturday the U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC, is revamping
its menu in celebration of the new Tittsworth + Alvin Risk EP – “Two
Strokes Raw”

Chef Erik-Bruner Yang of Toki Underground has worked tirelessly to
re-envision U Street Music Hall’s menu in time for this release party.
While existing favorites such as the grilled cheese, and the flagship
staple, the Pho Dog will still be on hand to sate party going palates,
several new centerpieces will be rolling out this Saturday:

Curry Chicken Ramen Brat– A spicy Bratwurst stuffed with Japanese
curry chicken and topped with curry lemon kewpie mayo, fried shallots
and cilantro served on a toasted bun

Sloppy Cho– A Chasu pork sloppy joe served on a toasted bun with Toki
made barbeque sauce and topped with cilantro

Pork Belly Donut– house cured thick bacon served between two grilled
glazed donuts

There is a full post with more in depth information plus tantalizing
photos on Tittsworth’s website here.

    Are these a joke?

Curry Chicken Ramen Brat- A spicy Bratwurst stuffed with Japanese curry chicken and topped with curry lemon kewpie mayo, fried shallots and cilantro served on a toasted bun

    Seriously? Barf.

Baby, if this is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Ugh, seriously. That dish sounds totally nasty. Someone went overboard with the fusion cuisine.

(But damn that donut looks good!)

  • I’m already salivating. The pork belly donut looks banging.

  • I would totally consider not eating for a week, just to savor that bacon and donut delight! (not eating for the rest of the week, due to the fact that it’s probably 10,000 cals… worth it).

Completely and utterly worth it. the picture of that donut is going to haunt my dreams… in a good way.

the picture of the donut gave me a heart attack. seriously people, you are not immortal. that food will fuck you up.

hey, everybody dies sooner or later. might as well die happy.

you need pig bellies in a donut blanket for happiness?
        have at it then.

In the words of the immortal Riggo: “Loosen up, Sandy baby!” Diners are going to dance it off. They’re also going to drink too much and have sex with strangers, so eating this will be the safest thing they do at U Hall. Looks awesome.

oh my god, I hate Paula Deen. that is freakin hilarious! and extra creepy. i’m surprised she didn’t jack it up with mayonnaise – wait, sorry, maynaise – like she does with everything else.

    estimated calorie count.

Glazed donut: 180-200 calories (depends on size).
    Bacon: 50ish

Verdict: one is not going to kill you.

  • C Money

pork.belly.donut. I too will dream of this.

  • John S.

So I’m supposed to eat a pork belly donut and then… dance? I can’t imagine a less desirable combination.

Damn, no wonder we’ve got DJs with names like Fatback and Lardbody!

Don’t forget about DJ Blubber, and also Tha Chubsta. The whole Fat Boys genre of the 80s is making a comeback in DC!

  • inwdc

Those donuts look fabulous (sans the pb though — I don’t want my sweets meat-ed)

    • Rosie

who doesn’t like meat in their sweets???

  • The Real Jason

They should have never given you hipsters pots and pans.

  • Rosie
