Estadio Offering Brunch Starting Sunday, October 24th

We judged Estadio’s dinner menu in late August. Estadio is located at 1520 14th Street NW in Logan Circle. This sounds like very good news. From a press release:

“On Sunday, October 24th, Estadio will debut its brunch menu, tempting weekend warriors with a taste of Spain from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The restaurant will accept reservations for all party sizes before noon, and will begin offering Saturday brunch on November 13th.

Executive Chef Haidar Karoum will offer a varied selection of dishes, including some traditional brunch items with Spanish accents, such as Warm Spanish torrijas (French Toast) with walnut butter and Vermont maple syrup, Fried hen eggs with chorizo and morcilla hash and a Cheeseburger topped with Manchego and spicy aioli on a brioche sesame bun. The menu will also feature seasonal specialties, such as Pumpkin croquetas with quince dipping sauce and Roasted butternut squash salad and pear salad with spinach, cherries and hazelnuts.

Continues after the jump.

Some favorites from the dinner menu make their appearance at brunch, including the Tomato-rubbed grilled country bread and the Wild mushroom croquetas with baby arugula. Chef Karoum is also offering a different preparation on his tortilla, this one with jamon, onions, peppers, aioli and grated Mahon cheese. Brunch dishes will range in price from $4 – $11 for the traditional tapas, and $7 – $13 for the raciones (entrées).

To complement Chef Karoum’s menu, Bar Manager Adam Bernbach is offering a number of inventive brunch cocktails, including a Spanish take on the Mimosa known as the Julioso, made with cava, brandy, orange juice and thyme and the Sherry-based Piscina Nino, made with Manzanilla, cava, honey and anisette. The cocktails, priced at $9 each, are served in addition to the restaurant’s selection of wines by the glass, craft beers, porrons and slushitos during brunch.

Estadio is located at 1520 14th Street NW, in between the U Street and Dupont Circle metro stops. For more information, please call 202-319-1404 or visit the website at www.estadio-dc.com.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
