From an email I received:

“I am very happy to announce to you that we are finished with the make over project of one of our client’s restaurants and we are proud to invite you to its first big inauguration night! Come join the celebration on February, Thursday the 21 at 6:30pm.

In addition to the outstanding thin crust pizza, we look forward to sharing with you an improved ambiance!! The new interior, photography by a local artist, and good music are not to be missed. Moroni’s will also offer a selection of Italian wines, German and Salvadorian beers, and espresso beverages. Please come and join your friends and fellow Petworthians as we celebrate the reinvention of a true community restaurant.”

Local resident and Interior Designer extraordinaire Stephanie S. did a fantastic job with a limited budget in giving this place a facelift for gratis. She is making a positive influence in the neighborhood with her own free time and is already working on other restaurants in the area. Can’t wait to get some great food there tonight! Congratulations.

Looks great! Love the new interior!

  • Dear all-
Thank you very much for coming to the event last night! It was so much fun! The atmosphere was so great that I felt like it was a house party, but at a restaurant. Stephanie, Josh, Giacomo, Guillermo, Carlos, Luke and everybody else who’s helped us reinvent “Moroni & Bros” – THANK YOU!

    Hey PoP,

I think you have a corrupted file… the picture doesn’t show up anymore.

I think they’ve made huge strides with the interior since they first opened. But, really, it’s about the pizza, and it’s fantastic, as always.

  • Damn. Wish I had seen this earlier. I love M&B!
